  4. K-G started following Dab aerial rns315
  5. Hi. I’ve problem with my dab aerial. It snapped cable in the boot lid. After finding price for new cable I bought dab aerial and followed by manual stick to the windscreen. Cleared error codes caused by factory aerial (dab aerial open circuit). Connected new aerial to the radio. I’ve no reception and on dab. On service mode it shows dab antenna off? Any advice? Does heated windscreen can completely wipe off the reception? Thanks.
  6. This black strip of silicone looks like something I have to buy? Does anyone know anything about it?

  8. Excuse rambling reply, just sharing thoughts in no particular order which may or may not be applicable here. Can see some strange things in the screenshots compared with what I have on my Columbus. First photo is a direct equivalent to your photo 1. In both cases Bluetooth is not greyed out, the only source greyed out in mine is AUX. My 2nd photo is for you info to show when a Bluetooth audio source on phone is actively streaming to Columbus My 3rd photo is equivalent to your photo 2. In my case all 4 sources are shown ready to use CD, SD card, built in hard drive and Bluetooth. Again, to my eyes, you Bluetooth button is exactly the same as mine and not greyed out. What is definitely different to mine is AUX input is active. Do you have anything plugged into that, even just the adapter they offer to connect the socket in centre console cubby hole under armrest to e.g. old fashioned iPods? I wonder if you can't have AUX active and play back Bluetooth? Disconnect that so AUX is greyed out like mine and try Bluetooth again My Bluetooth module (under driver's seat) occasionally throws a wobbly and locks the Bluetooth link so it's active but no data can go either way. That's sorted by either power cycling the Bluetooth module (pull plug from socket) or after car is powered down and locked for more than a few minutes (after which I assume the Bluetooth module is powered down anyway to save 12V battery and so you essentially power cycle when you next unlock and start the car). So won't be your problem. But the Columbus could maybe do with a soft reset. Have to simultaneously press and hold the left and right arrow keys on left of CD slot and the mic button on far right of the CD slot. Doesn't delete any data, just the equivalent of Ctrl Alt Del on a PC to do a full shutdown and restart. I assume Bluetooth calls work fine? Have you tried streaming music from phone via Bluetooth? Does that work? Have you tried another phone? If you Google the phrase Waze Bluetooth car audio, there's a Google help article as first Non-AI suggestion that makes a suggestion of how to route Waze audio to car rather than phone speaker. And maybe later suggestions might help. Hopefully some of above is of use
  9. No problem, Your quite right a lot have moved on to other cars including myself. I couldn't sell the Vrs as I have a soft spot for the old girl. Regarding the catch can, make sure the one you eventually buy has a drain **** fitted, they fill up with a mixture of oily water especially in winter (condensation). Here is a vid you might enjoy, some Brisky guys went to Germany for drive on the Nurburgring, enjoy !!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLYxljogZH0 Good Luck

  11. Next best alternative I think would be someone like towsure and get an aftermarket removable one. You can get aftermarket pop out ones too.
  12. Hello, When I opened my sunroof, the mechanism on the driver’s side broke. Has this ever happened to you? I don’t understand what happened. Do you think this is covered by the warranty? The car is five and a half years old and has done 126,000 kilometres. The break occurred at the end of the metal spring shaft in the mechanism. Best regards,
  13. Draining fuel and replacing filter after fuel lines blown out to clear any contaminates. Plugs and cables check ok lead end corroded will replace with new. I will write wahte codes are after these items have been completed.
  14. Under warranty is good, would probably be around £300+ at main dealers otherwise Apparantly they are also Model and trim specific too
  15. Is anyone able to email me the latest firmware, please
  16. Yeah they are separate stalks on the Karoq, sounds like its not the easy fix I was hoping for, fortunately its still under Skoda warranty, so I'll be giving them a call, thanks for responses.
  17. @skoda998 The Low mileage makes no difference as it is getting the same as @ the 1st Service and in addition a Pollen Filter (expensive done by them.) As long as you do not take up the offer of them doing a Brake Fluid Change & the Air Conditioning service. They will likely tell you these are scheduled to be done.
  18. The exact same bit of my black window trim is missing on driver side. I heard a noise on that side about a month ago and assumed something had been kick up by car in front and hit us. Only going about 50mph. The other Enyaq forum has a post from someone this happened to as well. Strange the same part has come off different Enyaqs and a Karoq. Did anyone find the spare part? Someone posted this link in the other forum: https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/5la853274c041-cover-right-skoda-50826.html Also seems to be sold here but no description: https://www.lllparts.co.uk/product/5la853274c041/trim-black-glossy-5la853274c041 I'm hoping this is right hand side - there are two part numbers and thinking A041 at end is for the left hand side.

  21. Seperate stalks in the Karoq. Driven a couple the past week or so.
  22. @Aldfort Thanks for the reply. I've had the aircon on a lot recently, I guess that may be part of the problem, although I haven't noticed that the aircon is speeding up - i.e. demanding more power - before the engine restarts. @rum4mo Yes, if the engine has auto-stopped it starts OK when I depress the clutch (and move the steering wheel? Maybe that was just coincidence...) but it will also re-start seemingly at random without me doing anything, usually after a few seconds. In fact, the last few journeys, the engine has never stopped at all at traffic lights / junctions. The 6th gear display issue was weird. It has only happened once, but I've only done one motorway journey. I'll see if anyone else has any ideas, but at the moment I'm inclined to use the car for another week or so to see how things go before taking it back to the dealer. I don't want to be taking it back every five minutes when something odd happens; I'd rather find all the issues and then get them all sorted. regards, Andrew

  25. Same thoughts as above, I’m guessing that you mean if you press the clutch pedal down while stationary and the engine has auto stopped. The suggested gear playing up is wrong.
  26. faulty stalk if they are on the same one, common problem with modern cars
  27. Unit elecricity price on Agile going to over 60 p per kwh during eclipse tomorrow ! 17p in the afternoon. Use less than normal and get an hour free on Sunday from Octopus 🐙
  28. @Hobron What had you done to solve the issue, and was it a lack of go issue? WAS THE OLD PETROL DRAINED OUT? Where there fault codes when you had an issue, where there mis-fires? Was the fuel OK, the fuel filter OK and where the Spark Plugs, Coils , cables? Was that what you replaced to solve things? How many miles has the car done?
  29. I noticed this being mentioned as now being part of the MOT checks in my usual car mag a few months ago, so checked wife’s 2015 Polo before handing it in - still acceptable so I might replace it soon.
  30. It's one of the annoyances with most automotive forums. When someone posts a problem for help but then never returns to say what the solution was.
  31. No luck, they're not fitting any towbars at the moment
  32. I have a fabia 1.2 tsi 2013 thaught i solved issues but after mot took it for a short run 1-3 no problem, slight gradient on dual carrageway no pull in 4, got up 50 dropped into 5th car slowed down.
