TMC traffic events no longer being received...firmware update required?
Because its been replaced with connected services. TMC you had to wait for the slot for the data to be sent out, connected services you just get it. No waiting. None of the mib3 / 4 cars since 2020 support TMC so that 5 year rules got the transmission of the data 🫣.

hi all! How can I reset my tyre pressure warning lights please? Info system says "not available"
I recently had my car serviced, but suffered a terrifying blowout of the driver's side front tyre last week (tyre only 3 weeks old and no obvious signs of puncture.) I had breakdown insurance and a new tyre was fitted at the roadside. Thank God I and my 2 dogs finally got home (and stopped shaking)! The "pressure loss" was still showing orange on that wheel, plus both nearside tyres, which were in fact correct! I checked the pressures in all my tyres this afternoon (when they were cold) to make sure they were now all correct but the infotainment system insists on telling me the ability to reset the pressure warning etc on there (ie remove the error message) "is not available"! Please can someone advise?? And no my car isn't (and hasn't been) parked in full sun etc either! For some reason the traction control and ABS warning lights are also showing organge ....

- HELP.All Warning Lights On At Once & Failure To Start
Check the voltage of battery when car not running. Should be 12.5-12.8v and 13.5-14.5 when running. Could be a failing cell in battery so you get enough to start car and may charge up enough to do it next time but if its a short journey then battery hasn't enough power. Have had a few that start no problem and are fine after a longish run but when short journey after 5 miles stop to get fuel it wouldnt start and dash like a christmas tree. Also check battery voltage when cranking. If it drops too low the electronic systems dont like it. If the battery is good then maybe check terminals for corosion and also earth points. Looks like Metallic Quartz Grey to me. Probably worth noting it's a DSG too, not a manual Gaz- HELP.All Warning Lights On At Once & Failure To Start
Hello, I am encountering the same issue with my Octavia 2019. While ago the car would not start and somehow the mechanic had to change the ECU. Now the car starts but from time to time all kinds of alerts show up. ABS, Parking sensor, Hand break Tire pressure.... Did you find the issue? I see in other forums people saying it is related to the ABS sensor. I am not sure.- 21 replies

Another 5+ hours of negative priced electricity on Agile tariff. Two EVs to top up inreadiness for trip to Silverstone on Sunday. Sad no longer any Moto e, maybe back again in a couple of years. Looking forward to the super quick Formula e cars for later this year.Heber joined the communityAnGre joined the communityGeoffers joined the community- Greetings from Hampshire-UK
Hi, I’m Paul. I have just bought a 2020 Fabia colour match in race blue. I thought I would join to help me learn about the car and get help from the online community. Hopefully I’ll be able to help too… we have a few VAG vehicles in the family! I came here to find out about a few little niggles that I want to sort out and also to ask a few questions and see what mods some of you have done to improve performance and looks.Emsee started following Greetings from Hampshire-UK- Disabling traffic attraction alerts
Hi there, I have just bought a second hand elroq 85 sportline. So far so good, very pleased. One issue. I can't find out how to disable the alert warnings for speed cameras and traffic queues. I am in the UK and driving down the M6 and M5 yesterday I nearly went mad. Any idea please gratefully received. I've looked online but not found the solution yet.BeNiceSayHi started following Disabling traffic attraction alerts- Skoda round leather steering wheel with DSG paddles
Note: this requires the deeper style airbag (with the crease all the way round) Non- heated, phone button, DSG paddles. £150 in good condition with one little scuff. Off to the British MotoGP on Sunday. Crowds will be a fraction of F1 unlike other meets where bikes exceed car crowds. Yamaha gave me 20% discount. Looking forward to the 850 cc Pirelli era next year.BeNiceSayHi joined the community- Round steering wheel with DSG paddles
I’ve returned to standard wheel without paddles as the airbag fits properly. Now got this one for sale!- Tyre Pressure Monitoring fault
Dunno? It's only done 72,500 miles and the bearing itself was absolutely fine. No roughness or play. The ring doesn't appear to be bonded to the bearing in any way at all. It's just held there by its own magnetism. I can peel it off and stick it back on anywhere. No evidence of any kind of adhesive behind it? I'm hoping VW have done their sums properly on the three screw fixing. just intuitively, it doesn't look like a bad arrangement. There's a spigot on the bearing housing that locates into the upright. I imagine that and the friction from the tightening torque, will take most of the load, rather than the screws themselves?- Skoda caraq select 2l diesel towing
- Tyre Pressure Monitoring fault
Yes, ticking time bombs, they will consume the wheel sensors though while breaking up. The wheel sensor ring is a series of small magnets, so the sensor reads them as pulses as it is a Hall Effect sensor. Edit:- I blamed the failure of the RHS front one on my 2011 Audi S4 on the fact that the bearing was not "handing out" any oil/grease to that area so rusting was to blame, in your case it looks like it is a crap bearing manufacture that is to blame as there is very little sign of serious corrosion - and so that maybe bonded on, series of potted magnets, has started to de-bond from the inner face of the bearing and end up lifting up into the path of the stationary ABS sensor "arm". I'm surprised that a car of this size has just the smaller version of wheel bearing, ie the 3 screw fixing version - maybe that's "progress".- Superb 3 Columbus firmware and Nav update
As previously mentioned, unzip the files and you will have 2 folders and the info file. On GPSpower.net you will find the latest version of maps, version 450. Click the link for Columbus and install after unzipping of course. Speed camera files can also be downloaded from there or on Briskoda. Not forgetting Radio station image files too. For Firmware there is a very good guide in this very forum under "guides".Coled started following Superb 3 Columbus firmware and Nav update- Is there something wrong with my airbag?
Replaced original wheel without DSG paddles today. I hardly used them and I would rather a proper fitting airbag!- Fabia 2 windows stop after 10 minutes.
Cool thank you. Not many options looking online! 👍👍- Tire pressure value can not be seen on central infotainment display
^^^ No you need to have them fitted. I broke the valve top off of one on my EV, not a Skoda, i got a repair valve and it coded it,s self and then the sensor stopped working. For the MOT in the UK this month none of my pals could code it, so i went to Halfords Tyre Centre who take £100 to fit a new one. The MOT station i am going to is charging £80 to fit one before the test. You have to be extra careful when you have the TPMS Sensors / Valves fitted, i broke one once before on a BMW and it was £150 to replace.- Fabia 2 windows stop after 10 minutes.
That would work (if it isn't faulty), but up and down would be reversed relative to switch movements. Can be swapped back by rotating the metal motor housing 180°.
