I ran some tests a few weeks ago and monitored the various temperature readings - the results seemed consistent with it just running cool or over-cooling, rather than a faulty coolant sensor. My local garage were asked to check/clear this too, but whether they did or not... no idea. I'll run some fuel pressure tests later today and see if that gives any useful clues. There were no relevant fault codes. When they very first had the car in for diagnostics (early June), they detected a single underboost error, but that hasn't returned - either in the additional tests they did that week, or in the few months since I had the car back. Bit of a longshot, but I'm wondering if that was a sign that the DV+ was starting to stick? Would've been about 9 months after it was fitted.

if 88 in xour nick suggest you are born in 1988, than you are to aged to have stiff car suspension. it will become unconfortable. if you like it, go on, aif not, stay with basic B4 which are like OEM.

The only person a locking wheel nut/bolt stops, is you. I had a rounded key on my first car, and sorted the issue with a blank socket and a mallet. I've kept the lockers on all cars since, as the wheels don't come off very regularly, but different designs have varying levels of usability. Usually, the BMW/VAG ones are pretty good - but the two-piece design, like on Ford, are horrendous.

Not for many years as have not had an ICE vehicle. When my son went from ICE to EV about a year ago we tended to go to MFG stations and they seem to get the future as they oft seem to have EV chargers and petrol pumps. Do go in to the Tesco fuel station but only to get a meal deal but they always ask if I have got fuel and I can so no each time. Our Tesco is quite a poor one as no EV charging there and Sainsburys seems to be getting the jump on Tescos and I expect Tesco to lose a lot of customers due to their lack of foresight.

Turn your cornering lights back on and see if that brings them back. My Sharan has AFS lights and when one of the static cornering lights bulbs was out it disabled the AFS headlight function. Also, there is definitely and off switch for AFS as I have the option on the display to disable bend lighting, so there must be an equivalent VCDS option somewhere.

Nope sorry @Gaz ... It's actually not a bad drive, is from part of the Stellantis group and has lots of little 'easter egg' (unfortunately not of the chocolate variety) motifs all round it harking back to it's WWII forefathers. Enough of a clue??
