AC coolant level/ system function indicator?
I'd think stopping after you have been running the car and the AC for a short period in time, and connect-run your scan tool, then restart the car+AC will give you the answers that you need to know, just record ambient temperature and AC running pressure while "asking for more cooling" - then keep that info for when you check again maybe at lower temperatures so that you have a range of ambient temperatures and AC system running pressure "while working under load" - and use that for the future to access your AC's current health. I realised after I had posted that you did give the date of build of your car, so guessed that it would be R-1234yf - but just left what I had written "as is" while adding R-1234yf as the option to R-134A.

the truth about electric cars
Negative electricity prices from 1000 tomorrow 5th of August thru to the 1600 hours tea time peak to charge the EVs and get super cheap running costs, heat the hot water, top up batteries etc !

the truth about electric cars
I read on another news site that he claimed he wanted to reject the car and get out of his lease, and Jaguar refused, and that was why he concocted this event in order to get out of his contract.

Thinking about an Elroq, but...
^^^ If getting only 6 hours offpeak tariff then with a 3 pin AC charge cable you can get near 15 kWh in that time, so maybe 60 miles of range. The normal home tariff might be near 1/2 that of the cost of a kWh at public chargers.

Thinking about an Elroq, but...
I think a test drive before purchase would be mandatory (maybe you can wrangle an extended test over a couple of days since you are a long-time Skoda owner). It may have the herbs you require but consider that it is a two tonne vehicle and driven enthusiastically will probably wear through the tyres quicker than an RS. Surely some sort of home charging would be possible even if at a nominal 2400 watt. That should be enough to provide most daily local requirements and avoid the hassle/costs of regular public charging. I can't believe that warranties on Skoda are still only 3 years in the UK as they are 7 years here is Aus and have been for a while.

Just got to deal with the Grade I I* listing issue though

Thinking about an Elroq, but...
Sorry I meant to reply to this earlier.... If your distribution board is full there are alternatives. For instance my supply is split after the meter via a Henly block with one set of tails going to the board and another to a weatherproof mini fuse box to feed my charger. All extra wiring is in the existing meter cupboard. There are ways and means.

the truth about electric cars
Did JLR really spend an extra £50 million in marketing because of the adverse publicity? Was this over and above publicity for free from their New Design of car & the Jaguar Dealerships no longer selling any New cars? (Not to mention the potential issue of them going on fire.)

1.5 tsi Throttle response fixed
Our Monte Carlo Edition is finally working pretty much as is should following Skoda replacing the ECU and thoroughly testing the car. The only thing that was still annoying was the throttle response especially pulling away from stationary. After some investigation and checking with my insurer I have fitted an IOPedal pedal box made in Germany. It has a good range of settings and now the response is spot on making the car a joy to drive. It can also improve the security on the car by disabling the throttle so the car can't be driven.

New Scala Monte Carlo Edition 1.5 tsi things
Yep, try screwing on/off any tyre inflator including the Skoda one, you let more air out, even if you have smaller fingers. Have to use a manual pump with the lever type connector .

Suspension upgrades for SEL Combi
I haven't had anyone in the rear complain about sharpness of bumps, to be honest. And I've ridden in the back myself, I can say it seems comfortable. What tires and pressures are you running? PS - there are two types of subframe bushings for the rear. Do you maybe have a list of PR codes for your car? I've sent you a PM!

P04F000 EVAP system high pressure purge line performance
Maybe overfilled at some point and canister is clogged/fuel in it plus check hoses are secure. It could also be a bad evap purge valve but on a 2025 car ?? Alasdair

Great thank you both that's very helpful. I'll look for those brands instead as daft to cheap out and end up doing it again!

Got Locked Inside My Car - “Key Not Recognised”!
Thanks for the replies. After giving the matter further thought and reading up on it, I now believe that the key, being in a tight pocket of my jeans, un-synchronised itself by the buttons being inadvertently pressed a number of times when the the car was out of range. Then when back inside and and furiously fiddling with the fob pressed against the start button, it re-synchronised as it should and at the same time, I must have unwittingly locked the car, thereby activating the safe lock! For that scenario to be correct, it would mean that an un-synchronised key fob will still unlock the car (?). Any thoughts?

Inexplicable tyre deflation - no puncture, valve OK
I had a 'puncture' quite a fw years ago that I couldn't find. Turned out to be a small sticker on the bead of the tyre that had a crack in it, leaking air through the middle of the sticker. Sticker removed, no further issues.

Finding an Internal drivers door door opener for a Skoda Superb Elegance 2005 in the Uk or beyond!
Do you still have the broken piece? If so, scrub up the chrome face of each piece with abrasive paper or a file, then use araldite to glue it back together with a steel or aluminium reinforcing plate over the chrome to add strength. Araldite is remarkably strong when left to set properly. It won't look great but you will then have the time wait until you find a correct replacement. Contacting sellers who are breaking Superb Mk 1's will surely come up with one eventually.
