  3. It wasn't before I uprated it. Back to the drawing board, as I still feel something isn't working correctly
  4. The box has never been serviced. I don’t think I’ve ever been asked. I refused the brake fluid and aircon clean this time. I’m really puzzled. I’d like to find out what the problem is before I send it to the dealer.
  5. The recommended plugs are Champion CH700 but are there other preferences used by owners please?
  6. FlyByMe started following Suitable glow plugs
  7. Funny enough, ours has been behaving itself for the last year or so, but it's just started playing up again this last week!
  8. It's 1.9D, right? Those use different heating from Favorit, so I'm not familiar with it. But you should be able to locate the resistor pack in the engine bay, following wires from the motor. There are two bimetal contacts that appear to short the resistors if they overheat. It's possible that the one for 1st speed got stuck.
  9. Hi lee, no maps on screen, mph as numbers and a rev counter plus additional vehicle information you can select.
  10. Hi Derek. Thanks for the videos and information really helpful. I test drove the car yesterday it has the Digital cockpit which displays speed as number's and a rev counter above in a line or circular around mph number which works well, i pick the car up monday. Regards robsie

  14. Unfortunately I don't have it, 0359 is the most current firmware I have
  15. It’s better but still not great, changing the PCV today to see if that helps.
  16. Hi Pab567, Google has brought me here to you. Are you able to help me getting the software upgrade MST2_EU_SK_PQ_P0369T for my 2017 Yeti radio please?
  17. Any update on the oil consumption Sharpy?
  18. Anyone solved this yet? The noise is very irritating and the passenger door is doing it now as well.
  19. A perfect outcome. Well done. Well worth the prep and planning involved.
  20. I took advantage of the very pleasant sunny weather we've had this week and got the torque wrench onto the glow plug as soon as I got home from a drive. With an initial setting of 20 NM the glow plug started turning before I hit the torque setting. The plug that came out was a Bosch. I don't know if it was the original one or not? The new one went in easy peasy. Fault codes cleared with my Launch diagnostics tablet. And the warning light on the dashboard has stayed off since. The actual replacement work took less than 30 minutes. It's only a matter of time before another glow plug goes. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. I paid £14 for the Bosch glow plug, from a local GSF that had it in stock.

  23. As title. My existing brake servo on my 05VRS is As title. My existing brake servo on my 05 vRS is playing up and I desperately need a replacement. New aren’t available, pattern parts seem to be extremely thin on the ground if at all and the secondhand ones on eBay look terrible when they come up. If anyone has something that would suit, I’ll be grateful if you could contact me. Thank you.
  24. The speed limit on most of the minor c roads around north northumberland register 20mph despite speed limit of 60 is very annoying and obviously a mapping error
  25. David55 started following Ghost speed limits
  26. 2016 Skoda Superb Mk3 – Bonnet Stuck Shut! Help Needed Hi all, having a nightmare trying to get the bonnet open on my 2016 Skoda Superb Mk3 280 4x4 (UK RHD). Original problem: Driver’s-side bonnet latch released normally. Passenger-side latch remained locked. Interior release handle was still working. What I’ve done: Removed the driver’s-side wheel-arch liner. Located the bonnet-release cable behind the headlight. Managed to release the driver’s-side latch. Unfortunately, while pulling the cable, the junction box came loose and the cables disconnected. The cable from the interior release handle has also detached from the junction. Current situation: Bonnet is completely stuck shut on the passenger side. Driver’s-side latch is released. Passenger-side cable is disconnected and inaccessible. Cannot reach the passenger-side latch due to the radiator and surrounding structure. Cannot remove the grille or bumper normally because the upper fixings are beneath the bonnet. Looking for advice: Has anyone experienced this on a Superb Mk3 or managed to manually release the passenger-side bonnet latch? I’m happy to sacrifice smaller parts if necessary, but would prefer not to cut into the bonnet. Any advice, diagrams or alternative methods would be massively appreciated!

  30. You’re allowed a Max 10mm crack within the width of steering wheel the height of the screen, and max 40mm outside that area. I’ve got 2 or 3 small chips in a few places. Expecting them to become large cracks at the first frost!
